Our Team
Most contractors assemble a project from whoever's available that week. We bring the team with us.
In-House Trades
Three of the trades that most shape a remodel or build are right inside Westward. That changes everything: faster turnaround, consistent quality, one contract, one phone call.
Panel upgrades, rewires, smart-home integration, EV charging, Title 24. Our electrician is on the team every day, so electrical decisions get made alongside the rest of the build, not bolted on at the end.
Repipes, fixture installs, radiant heat, recirculation loops, gas lines. Plumbing decisions interact with framing, insulation, and finishes in ways that suffer when the plumber only shows up three times. Ours is embedded in the project.
Full re-roofs, sheathing upgrades, solar-ready install, and complex details on additions where a roofline needs to disappear into the existing structure. Certified in the materials we specify, not whatever the nearest sub happens to stock.
Our Partner Network
Some work is better done by people who do only that work. We have the partnerships in place, architects, engineers, specialist fabricators, so the right expertise shows up on your project without you having to go shopping for it.
We work with a trusted network of Peninsula architects who understand how we build, or we work with yours. Either way, we get into the drawings early, where the small structural calls in schematic design save months of rework later.
Especially for structurally challenging work, second-story additions, hillside builds, seismic retrofits. Engineers we've shipped dozens of projects with, whose drawings don't surprise us at inspection.
Where off-site fabrication saves time or opens up design options, we partner with shops that deliver precision-built components: ADUs, structural assemblies, feature walls.
Not a partner in the formal sense, but a relationship that matters. We know the plan checkers and inspectors across Peninsula cities, and they know our work. That's the difference between a permit cycle that takes four weeks and one that takes four months.
Meet the Founders
On every project, both of them are in the finish, sweating the details that turn a house into a home. Read more about the people behind Westward on our About page.
